Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television series The Office For her role, she received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from the Ensemble Comedy.
Her family was based on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was younger that instilled a passion of performing and theater.
Fischer was a theatre actress in her own country. In the Off-Broadway Play Reasons to be Happy written by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was the lead. In the following play, she was a part of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf in October 2019. The podcast has been a huge success, reaching the Top Ten worldwide every week as well as receiving over 200 million downloads in its first two-years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Awards in January 2021.
She's published two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide in which she describes her path to Hollywood as a working actor and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends who Were There, an account of the most memorable friendship they had as well as their experience watching The Office.
