Katherine Heigl shares the ways that growing up in a 'white bubble' changed the way she raised her multiracial family. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recent interview that, in terms of skin colour the issue isn't that important. After speaking with her sister, who was adopted from South Korea she realized just the different ways society treats them. When I asked Meg about how she was treated while out in public, either regardless of whether we were with our parents, the treatment was very different. Meg replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl addressed Parents about when she realized her naivet . According to the actor she was angered. But, she was determined to channel this energy into aiding her adopted daughters. Heigl has a four year old son who is married to her 13 year old husband, Josh Kelley. They were adopted by Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. followed by Adalaide who was 8 years older and was Black in 2012.
