Patricia Ann Garner, the mother of Patricia Ann, taught at an area college. Following in the footsteps of her father she completed an engineering degree in chemical science. However, because she wanted to follow her dream of becoming actress, she relocating into New York to try her luck in the movies. Garner began his role as an ambassador for Save the Children U.S.A. in 2009. From 2014 onwards, Garner has been a part of the board of trustees of the organization. She has been pushing for early learning for children. As a spokesperson, she travels frequently with families that are part of Early Steps to School Success, a program that coaches parents on ways to support young children to learn.
