Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I was a gruelling 12 hours sanding floors, and tear down wallpaper the baby on my back, and others playing inside the playpen. Ha! The house was getting closer to completing, however it was still a long distance away. The home would require an enormous amount of work and an enthusiasm to shop. To keep my budget intact, I went with my 3 boys looking for bargains in estate sales. The schedule we had for the week that consisted of spending Thursday through Saturday walking around estate and garage sales, buying old and new things. The rest of the week painting and sanding on the driveway. The furniture I found looked like... This is when my desire to repair furniture began. Even after our house was furnished I couldn't quit! On the streets I was able to rent a tiny area and then sold a few items. Eventually, my collection grew enough that the area I had was inadequate. In my own home, I started hosting open houses in which more than 1000 guests could visit and purchase any product they liked on the 1st floor over the course of a weekend. My business Growing Days began here. The business I was running was growing however my family was also expanding. In a way, I found the ideal equilibrium between motherhood as well as starting my own company. Growing Days fit perfectly. My beautiful Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our fourth baby. It was a great direction for my business however I was also in need of an escape. I opted to take a little break from my antique furniture and slow down to remain at home with the children. The time was right. However after a few months without a phone, it began to ring. I was getting messages from individuals asking for assistance with home improvements and interior design. The majority of them had been to my home during open houses for furniture. I began taking on clients at a time going at my own pace but it wasn't too time before I was running multiple accounts and was running the complete business of home remodeling. When you first spoke to me about my home renovation business, I laughed. It's hilarious to look back about it.
